34th Annual Alaska Watercolor Society Exhibition

Morten E. Solberg Watercolor Workshop

June 3-6, 2008 the Fairbanks Watercolor Society, sponsored by the Fairbanks Arts Association, will be hosting a workshop with nationally known artist, Morten E. Solberg. www.mortenesolberg.com. Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society

Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society presents a three day workshop "Creative Design and Expression" August 9-11, 2008 at Land's End Resort and Quarterdeck, from 9-4PM, with Donna Zagotta. WATERFRONT WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

June 13-15, 2008 at Across the Bay Tent and Breakfast Adventure Company will be offered by Paula Dickey. This is Paula's 9th year leading a watercolor workshop in Kasitsna Bay across from Homer. The focus is different each year. "The Landscape in Full Bloom" will be emphasized using color theory to enrich your personal environment. The $365 + tax includes water taxi from Homer Friday evening, class Saturday and Sunday, rustic accommodations, hearty home cooked meals and return water taxi Sunday mid afternoon. Beginning Watercolors class

Peggie Hunnicutt will be teaching Watercolors A212 this summer for UAA Eagle River extension. See UAA Summer Session on line as the extension has done away with printed information. This is a Beginning Watercolors class on Tue and Thurs eve's 6-10 p.m. However, intermediates can also learn from Peggie's unique style of painting. Join us and see for yourself. Botanical Art Workshop

Linda Ann Vorobik, PHD, is a botanist and botanical artist, researcher at UC Berkeley and at UW Seattle, illustrator of floras such as that for California The Jepson Manual and the Flora of Santa Cruz Island, and resident of Lopez Island Washington. Introduction to Encaustic Painting
